Walking along the Mall of the Emirates, I came across the stall for Lipton Green Tea. There it was, simple, appealing, and I would definetly want to try it. Someone asked me, why I love it so much? Its because I am/ was a marketing professional. Now I am a full-time mom who loves her doting 10 month old daughter. Being a mom also means having no time at all. I see a million promotional stalls at Carrerfour. But what marketers do not understand is that, me, a mom like any other, runs the house on a tight schedule. I come to the grocery store, thinking about a million other things I need to get done. When I pick up vegetables, I am thinking about the rest of the recipe ingredients for dinner tonight. At times, I do look at the stalls in the middle think 'hmm lets stop and try something', but in my 3 years living in Dubai, and always doing groceries at Carrerfour, i think I have actually tried something twice. Thats all! And never have I noticed any brand. I remember Alitea would promote themselves a lot, but again never tried it. Getting back to my point, I am at grocery store, and I am rushing. I dont have time to notice things.
While I am out the mall shopping, not doing groceries, but leisurely shopping, I notice things, I try things. And thats why I think Lipton Green Tea got it right! Kudos to them!
